The brief for Strike Highpoint was to create a destination space that incorporated not just bowling, but laser skirmish, escape rooms, karaoke rooms and casual dining area.
The finishes used in the space were a balancing act between luxe (copper used in the kickers, tables and pool tables) industrial (cement blocks and steel frames) and the surprising (red acrylic) We collaborated with local artist Sandra Eterovic to create unique large scale portraits seen in the dining area as we wanted to steer away from the usual hipster/graffit artwork that is synonymous with Melbourne. The tenancy itself presented us with so many large scale canvas’ for great art that we wanted to take the opportunity to look outside the box and explore a concept that wasn’t trendy or in the interior design landscape already.
