Strike Melbourne Central

Strike Bowling in Melbourne Central was in need of an innovative design facelift to contemporise the unique experience they offer. We found Blake Little's imagery of honey drenched people and animals a powerful informant to our design process. The sleek warmth they portray as large scale wallpaper transfers itself seamlessly into the wooden features and bespoke furniture. All pieces were made with fabrics of different textures and colours to reflect the varying nature of Strike's clientele. Custom made breeze bricks envelope the space making it a hive of entertainment and activity, while wooden feature partition walls made of Australian spotted gum wrap and flow through the space creating a distinctive energy, allowing the venue to be both dynamic and intimate where required.
