Built to coincide with Beijing's 2015, World Athletics Championships, 'the Nike Studio' is an futuristic, interactive and immersive experience.
Designed by Coordination Asia and occupying an art gallery in Beijing, the space comprises difference zones including work out studios, product displays and a multi-functional lounge. While all the spaces are clearly defined by shifts in colour (with the work out area almost entirely black in contrast to the light neutral lounge area), they are tied together by strong linear elements such as the LED lighting grids, low slung benches, slatted and framed product displays, which are emphasised by the installation of reflective and transparent surfaces. Bold graphics interspersed throughout the space provide that extra bit of motivation to visitors.
